Goztepe Training and Research Hospital was demolished and rebuilt within the scope of the Istanbul Seismic Risk Reduction and Emergency Preparedness Project (ISMEP), which was created by the Istanbul Project Coordination Unit of the Istanbul Governorship to prepare Istanbul for a possible earthquake.
Goztepe T.R.H. was put into practice with seismic isolator technology to provide uninterrupted service during and immediately after an earthquake.
Design, engineering and product supply services for seismic protection of non-structural elements in the project were provided by DKM Construction.
