Kartal Lutfi Kirdar Training and Research Hospital, one of the three major hospital projects renewed by IPKB, was built with seismic isolator technology to provide uninterrupted service during and after the earthquake. It will operate with a capacity of 1000 beds in a total closed area of 301,850 square meters.
In the project, DKM Construction products (TUNEX Impact Sound Insulation Membrane and Sound Insulation Tape, Zip-Clip Seismic Suspension Systems and MASON Seismic Isolators) were used for sound insulation between floors, seismic protection of mechanical systems and vibration control.
